Job Description:

This is a cooking-assistant role at a certified children's centre (認定こども園 nintei-kodomoen) in Suita City, Osaka, preparing around 250 meals per day with a team of eight. Duties include ingredient preparation, plating, serving, cleaning, and washing up. The shift is a short weekday slot of 08:00-13:00 with no break, Monday to Friday (3 or more days negotiable); those wanting to work until 15:00 can discuss it (45-minute break for 6+ hours), with no overtime. This is ideal for balancing work with family — drop children off in the morning and be home to welcome them back. No cooking qualification is required, though cook or nutritionist licence holders are welcome; time off for children's events and illness can be arranged.
