Job Description:

Sell traditional Japanese sweets and snacks including the famous shrimp crackers at Sakakado Sohonpo (坂角総本舗), a historic confectionery brand with over 130 years of history, at their counter in Tobu Funabashi department store, just 1 minute from Funabashi Station. Duties include customer service and product recommendations, cashier work, gift-wrapping, handling delivery orders, restocking, stock management, and cleaning. The team is small — typically 2 to 3 staff per day — centred on women in their 40s, in a collaborative and professional retail environment. Two shift options are available (09:00-18:00 or 12:00-21:00) on a rotating basis, 5 days per week including weekends; at least one weekend day off per month can be arranged. Prior customer service experience of some kind is required. High school graduate or above required.

Wage:

1,500円 (per hour) Transport allowance paid in full (交通費全額支給 koutsuuhi zengaku shikyuu). Daimaru Matsuzakaya department store 10% shopping discount for staff.
