Job Description:
Work at 24/7 Coffee & Roaster Ujina, a specialty self-roasting coffee cafe with ocean views in Hiroshima's Ujina area, 5 minutes walk from Kaigandori tram stop. Kitchen duties include preparing and plating pound cakes and other baked goods, assisting with doughnut and light meal prep, and contributing ideas for seasonal sweet development. Hall duties cover order taking, handcrafted hand-drip coffee extraction (choosing from light, medium, or dark roast), espresso and latte preparation, and takeaway service. The team has a strong culture of calling out to each other and working together; off-duty staff often come in for coffee on their days off. A late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00 under Japanese labour law; the shift can extend to 22:30. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available and the group discount of 30% off applies at over 300 group restaurant locations. Minimum contract period of 3 months; high school graduate or above.
