Job Description:
This is a kitchen staff role at Yayoi-ken Natori Masuda, a popular Japanese set-meal restaurant chain in Natori, Miyagi. Work covers the full range of kitchen duties: vegetable chopping, ingredient preparation, cooking (stir-frying, grilling, and frying), plating, cleaning, and stock management — comprehensive manuals are in place for each task, so minimal knife skills are needed and beginners can get started immediately. Three shift bands are available: early morning (06:00-11:00), daytime (09:00-17:00), and evening-to-late-night (17:00-01:30 overnight) — minimum 3 hours a day and 2 days a week, with flexible scheduling via a smartphone app every two weeks. A staff meal benefit lets you eat any qualifying Yayoi-ken menu item for 400円 per meal during your shift. Late-night shifts from 22:00 to 05:00 are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over under Japanese labour law, and a minimum contract period of 6 months applies.
