Job Description:
Work as hall or kitchen staff at Udagawa Naru, a popular neo-casual izakaya with high ratings on food review sites and a loyal following on social media, just a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station. Hall staff handle customer service, order-taking, drink preparation, food service, and cashier work; kitchen staff handle food preparation, cooking assistance, and progress to full cooking as skills develop. The shift runs from 13:00 to midnight, with any slot within this window possible — 4 hours or less is fine, and weekend-only arrangements are welcome. A 25% late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies after 22:00; staff with over 1 year of food and beverage experience can reach 1,500 yen per hour after training. A monthly bonus applies for working 10 or more shifts; salary increases are tied to clearly communicated performance criteria and contribution to the store. Cash-in-hand payment (手渡し tewatashi) is available, and staff meals are provided. Non-native Japanese speakers must hold JLPT N1 or above due to the high-communication nature of the role.
