Job Description:

This is a qualified cook (調理師 choushi) role at Oizumi Memorial Hospital in Shiroishi, Miyagi, operated by Nisshin Medical Food, Japan's largest healthcare food service contractor. Duties follow menus designed by registered dietitians and include food preparation and cooking, plating, ward meal delivery and collection (配膳・下膳 haizen/gezen), dishwashing, and hygiene management. Two rotating shift patterns cover early morning through evening; a minimum of 3 days per week is required. Qualification allowances of 3,750-5,000 yen per month are paid on top of the hourly rate for cookery licence holders, with additional allowances for leaders and hygiene supervisors.
