Job Description:
This is a general convenience store staff role at FamilyMart Uji Higashi Inter store in Uji, Kyoto, located beside the Keiji Bypass Uji-Higashi interchange with ample car parking and easy access by bicycle, motorcycle, or car. Duties cover register operation (レジ reji), product ordering, floor display, and store cleaning; the store manager provides thorough personal guidance for all new and inexperienced staff. Shifts span all hours including early morning and overnight; as little as 2-3 hours per shift from one day a week is acceptable with all arrangements negotiable. The overnight slot (00:00-07:00) crosses midnight and carries the statutory deep-night premium (深夜割増 shinya-warimashi); this slot and the 22:00-05:00 window are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). A 30-day training period applies at the same hourly rate.
