Job Description:
This is a cafe staff role at an upscale cafe attached to a famous French apparel brand store in Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo, steps from Shinjuku-sanchome Station. Duties include customer service and food delivery, preparing drinks and light food and sweets, stocking supplies, and cleaning and maintaining the cafe interior — a stylish, boutique-scale operation currently run by a team of 5. The calm, small-team atmosphere is well-suited to those who prefer unhurried, detail-focused service over high-volume chain cafe environments. Prior food and beverage experience is not required — customer service or retail experience in any industry is sufficient to apply; the role suits those who have always wanted to work in a cafe setting. Shifts run from mid-morning to early evening (ending by 20:30 at the latest) across 4-5 days per week including weekends.
