Job Description:
This is a hall staff role at Pizzeria Mal de Napoli (ピッツェリア マルデナポリ), an award-winning authentic Italian restaurant inside JR Gate Tower in Nagoya, just 1 minute walk from Nagoya Station. The head chef won a prestigious Naples pizza competition and has appeared as a judge on a well-known Japanese cooking television programme — this is a genuinely high-profile kitchen, and the menu features fresh ingredients from Ehime and the Seto Inland Sea. Hall duties cover full front-of-house service: seating guests, taking orders in conversation (no call buttons — staff proactively approach customers), serving food, and cashier operation. Unlike many restaurants, orders and payment are all handled by staff rather than machines, so you will develop real service and hospitality skills. Two wage tiers apply: 1,350 yen on weekends and public holidays, and 1,250 yen on weekdays; a late-night supplement (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies from 22:00. Salary increases are available every 3 months for all staff. Staff meals are available at half price — pizza, pasta, handmade desserts and more.
