Job Description:

This is a reception and front-of-house staff role at a high-end Italian restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo, just 4 minutes walk from Shinbashi Station and 5 minutes from Ginza Station. The restaurant fuses Italian cuisine with Japanese ingredients in a luxurious yet relaxed setting — most guests arrive by prior reservation so the pace is measured and the service style is warm rather than formal. Duties include welcoming and seeing off guests, cloakroom service, handling telephone and online reservations, inputting order records, and cashier operation — no cooking is involved. International guests are frequent, and while English ability is not required, those who want to use or improve their English in a hospitality context will find ample opportunity here. The schedule runs Tuesday to Saturday plus public holidays (Mondays and Sundays off), 11:30-21:00 with 90 minutes of rest, for a total of 8 hours actual work; occasional overtime of up to 1 hour may occur. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available, and the Daimaru Matsuzakaya 10% shopping discount applies at all group department stores.

Wage:
