Job Description:
This is a hall staff role at Zenka Shoin (茶庭然花抄院 / ぜんかしょういん), a refined Japanese sweets café directly connected to Shibuya Station inside Shibuya Hikarie shopping complex in Tokyo. The café features freshly baked confectionery from an in-house atelier and hand-poured tea, presented in a serene interior that evokes the atmosphere of the Kyoto flagship — a calm, graceful environment quite unlike typical busy café settings. Duties include greeting and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, preparing drinks, and register operation — all standard hall work delivered with the attentive, measured service style the brand is known for. Shifts run within the 10:00-20:00 window (7.5 hours actual work, 90-minute break), 3-5 days per week including weekends and public holidays. Prior food service experience in any setting — café, izakaya, or restaurant — is required. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available, and the Daimaru Matsuzakaya 10% shopping discount applies at all group department stores.
