Work at FamilyMart Izumizaki Icchoume-ten, a convenience store in Taihaku-ku, Sendai, serving a warm mix of customers from children to seniors in a friendly store environment. Duties cover the full range of combini (konbini) work: cashier and fast food service at the register, stocking and arranging shelves, store cleaning, and eventually product ordering as you gain experience. Shifts are available from early morning through to overnight, with a minimum of 2 days and 3–4 hours per day, making this easy to combine with another job or household duties. A training period of 30 days applies with no change to the base wage during that time. Late-night shifts from 22:00 include a statutory deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate), with wages rising to 1,298 yen/hour. The store is 5 minutes walk from Tomizawa Station, and car, bicycle, and motorcycle commuting are all permitted.
