Job Description:
Work as hall and kitchen staff at Hanamaru Udon Tendo-Minami-ten, a self-service udon chain restaurant in Tendo, Yamagata, part of the Yoshinoya Holdings group. Staff are divided into five clear positions — noodle boiling, tempura frying, topping and plating, dishwashing, and register/service — so you only need to learn one role at a time and can expand gradually. The self-service format means no heavy tray carrying; duties are simple and customer interaction is manageable even for those returning to work after a long break. Staff meals (makanai) are available at 70% off, and an advance pay system lets you receive part of your earned wages before payday (conditions apply). Shifts are as short as 3 hours from just 1 day per week; schedules are submitted every 2 weeks with flexibility for family commitments and extended leave.
