Job Description:
Work as hall or kitchen staff at Uminchu Ogikubo-ten, an Okinawan cuisine restaurant and izakaya with a cafe-style interior just 3 minutes walk from Ogikubo Station in Suginami, Tokyo. Popular dishes include goya champuru, rafuti braised pork, and Okinawan soba — all prepared to a detailed cooking manual so even those with zero experience in Okinawan cuisine can contribute from day one. Hall duties cover opening prep, seating and guiding customers, order-taking, serving, cashier, and clearing; kitchen duties cover ingredient prep, cooking, plating, and dishwashing. The main recruited shift is 16:00–22:00; the store opens until 05:00 and additional late-night or early-morning shifts can be arranged on request, with a 25% late-night premium from 22:00. Cash-in-hand (手渡し tewatashi) payment is available, and weekend availability (Fri/Sat/Sun/holidays) is particularly welcome.
Wage:
1,260円 (per hour) Kitchen staff base: 1,300 yen/hour; late-night allowance from 22:00: base x 1.25 (up to 1,500 yen/hour); salary increase available; various performance allowances available
