Job Description:

Work as a kitchen assistant (調理補助 chouri-hojo) at Tokubetsu Yogo Rojin Home Aozora, a special nursing home in Ashikaga, Tochigi, preparing and serving evening meals for elderly residents. Duties include meal preparation and counting portions (数出し kazudashi), cooking assistance, and dishwashing and cleaning -- straightforward kitchen support work that does not require cooking qualifications, though holders of a cooking or dietitian licence are especially welcome. The single daily shift runs 11:00 to 20:00, covering lunchtime preparation through to evening meal service, making it compatible with school runs and family schedules; weekend and public holiday availability is welcome. An advance payment service (給与前払いサービス kyuuyo-maebarai-saabisu) is available for shifts worked from January 2026 onward (conditions apply). A staff meal benefit (食事補助 shokuji-hosho) and a points reward system (tenure, birthday, referral) redeemable for food and goods are included. Car, motorbike, and bicycle commuting are all permitted.

Wage:
