Job Description:

Work at FamilyMart Shimanouchi Suocho store (ファミリーマート島之内周防町店) in Chuo-ku, Osaka, 5 minutes from Nagahoribashi Station and 7 minutes from Shinsaibashi Station. Duties cover all general convenience store operations: cashier (レジ reji), parcel delivery reception, fast food preparation (gyuuman, yakitori, Famichiki), product stocking and shelf arrangement, store and outdoor cleaning, and product ordering. Shift (1) covers 05:00 to 22:00 and shift (2) covers 22:00 to 05:00; as little as 3 hours per day and 1 day per week is fine with days and times fully negotiable. The overnight shift (22:00-05:00) pays 1,500 yen per hour and is open to applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). International students are welcome; JLPT N3 or above is the application guideline as most work is conducted in Japanese. A 3-day training period applies for general staff; high school students have a 1-month training period at the same rate. Staff promotion to full-time and store manager track are both available.

Wage:

1,177円 (per hour) Deep-night rate (22:00-05:00): 1,500円/hr (above statutory minimum). Training period: 3 days general / 1 month for high school students (same rate). Annual salary increase available.
