Job Description:
This is a convenience store staff role at FamilyMart Chiba Minato store in Chuo-ku, Chiba, a 3-minute walk from Shiyakushomae Station on the Chiba Urban Monorail. The store sits on the route to Chiba Port Arena, so it gets busy on event days and has a strong base of regular local customers and nearby office workers. You will handle cashier duties, product stocking and ordering, floor display, store cleaning, and simple food preparation including fried items from the hot counter (one button to operate). A 30-day training period applies (standard FamilyMart rule), with wages as listed throughout — no change during training. Early morning shifts (06:00-09:00) earn 1,220 yen per hour; late-night shifts (22:00-06:00) earn 1,425 yen per hour including the statutory deep-night premium. Late-night shifts (22:00-05:00) are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over under Japanese labour law. Transport allowance up to 1,000 yen per day (round trip) is provided. Bicycle and motorbike commuting permitted.
