Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Katsuo Obiyamachi Oenden, a lively yakitori and teppan izakaya in the Obiyamachi shopping arcade area of central Kochi, a 2-minute walk from Horizume Station on the Tosa Electric Railway Ino Line. Hall staff take orders, serve food and drinks, and provide warm, energetic table service — polished formal service is not expected; a friendly, natural manner is all that is needed. Kitchen staff start with simple plating and food prep, then gradually progress to yakitori and teppan cooking as confidence grows. Weekday shifts run from 15:00, and weekend/holiday shifts from 13:00; the venue closes at 01:00 (overnight) so late-night shifts (22:00-01:00) attract the deep-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) at 1,375円/hour. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available from the next day after your shift; hair colour, piercings, and nails are all welcome. High school students are not eligible due to the late closing time.

Wage:

1,100円 (per hour) Off-peak / weekend daytime rate (13:00-17:00 weekends, 15:00-17:00 weekdays): 1,023円. Deep-night rate (22:00-01:00, statutory 1.25x): 1,375円/hour. Special bonus during busy seasons (year-end etc.). Salary increase available.
