Job Description:

This is a night-shift parts picking role at an eco-cute (home heat-pump water heater) manufacturing plant in Settsu City, Osaka, accessible 15 minutes on foot from Ikatano Station on the Osaka Metro Imazatosuji Line or 20 minutes by bus from Suita Station on the JR Kyoto Line. Work involves scanning barcodes to identify component locations, collecting the indicated parts (under 1 kg each) when the storage light activates, and placing them on an automated conveyor; some light assembly with an air driver is also included. The main shift runs 21:30-06:00 (overnight) with a 45-minute break plus two short breaks; the first 2-3 weeks of employment are spent on a day-shift training programme (08:30-17:00) before transitioning to nights. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are off, with 125 days off per year including GW, summer, and year-end long holidays; Wednesday is a no-overtime day each week. Advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available via smartphone app, and company dormitory accommodation is available for those relocating. A relocation starter pack (10 days of food and daily necessities) is provided to new joiners. Japanese language communication to a high standard is required for safety and quality reasons on the production floor.

Wage:

1,460円 (per hour) Deep-night premium (22:00-05:00, statutory 1.25x) applies throughout most of the shift. Overtime at 1.25x rate (for hours beyond 8 hours/day). Salary increase: 1,520円 after 6 months; 1,580円 after 1 year. Monthly income example: approx. 321,000円 including deep-night and overtime (at 1,460円 base).
