Pick DIY tools and home centre items at a stable company handling around 60,000 products for household and professional use in Katsuragi, Nara. The main task is picking: checking a slip or list, finding the specified products and collecting them. You then prepare the collected goods for shipment including packing, and occasionally move them with a manual lift, which needs no licence and only light effort. No qualifications or experience are required, and the procedures are simple enough that people returning after a break settle in quickly. The workplace is described as flat and free of rigid hierarchy, with a high retention rate and a training system suited to people changing industries. Hours are 08:45 to 18:00 with 8 hours of actual work and a generous 75 minute break split into 60 minutes at lunch and 15 minutes in the afternoon. Drinks and toilet breaks during work are free to take, and you can wear your own comfortable work clothes. Saturdays and Sundays are completely off, and free parking is available for car and motorbike commuters.
