Job Description:

Clean guest rooms at a hotel in Higashinada ward, Kobe, working in teams of three per room. Duties cover vacuuming the room, cleaning the bathroom, making beds and restocking amenities. Every cleaning procedure is set out step by step, so once you learn it the work is straightforward and you get faster with repetition. Bed making staff have almost no contact with guests during the shift. No experience or qualifications are needed and 93 percent of staff started with none, with a full training (研修 kenshuu) system in place. Three shift patterns are offered: 09:00 to 18:00, 18:00 to 00:00 and 00:00 to 09:00, with 2 to 3 days a week possible. Working 5 days a week can bring monthly earnings of over 240,000円, and shorter or split schedules suit those working a second job. A trial shift is available if you are unsure, and the site is a 5 minute walk from Ishiyagawa Station with car, motorbike and bicycle commuting permitted.

Wage:

1,116円 (per hour) Standard cleaning rate of 1,120円 per hour after the training period. Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25 percent increase after 22:00, up to 1,500円 per hour. Regular salary increases. Overtime allowance.
