Job Description:

Serve customers at a specialist tea shop inside the Hakata Daimaru department store in Tenjin, Fukuoka. Duties cover customer service and register work at the counter, wrapping, displaying and restocking products, stock management and keeping the sales floor tidy. Once you are settled you also recommend teas to customers, which suits people who enjoy conversation. The atmosphere is calm and filled with the scent of tea, and many women work on this team. Three shift patterns are offered: 09:30 to 17:30, 10:15 to 18:15 and 12:15 to 20:15, each 7 hours of work with a 60 minute break. You work 4 to 5 days a week including weekends and public holidays, with two full days off and requested days off possible. Daimaru register experience is required for this role. There is no overtime, training (研修 kenshuu) is provided, staff discounts apply to tea and related products, and the shop is a 1 minute walk from Tenjin-Minami Station.

Wage:

1,300円 (per hour) Example monthly income of 218,400円 based on 8 hours a day over 21 days, plus transport allowance. Paid at the end of the following month.
