Job Description:

Clean guest rooms at the Toyoko Inn near Hakata Station in Fukuoka. Tasks cover cleaning bathrooms and toilets, vacuuming the whole room, wiping down desks and mirrors, and making beds. The pace is around two rooms per hour, so a 5 hour shift covers about ten rooms, and you can work through the rooms in whatever order suits you. Contact with guests is minimal, which suits people who prefer to work quietly at their own pace. The shift is 10:00 to 15:00 with no overtime, from 3 days a week, though weekend-only or weekday-only patterns can be discussed. Pay rises as the number of rooms you can finish within the set time increases, and there is a bonus system. Training (研修 kenshuu) runs for 3 months or more at 1,190円 per hour, and it usually takes 3 to 6 months to master the technique. The hotel is a 1 minute walk from Gion Station and 8 minutes from Hakata Station, transport is covered up to 50,000円 a month, and a uniform (制服 seifuku) is provided.

Wage:

1,190円 (per hour) Standard rate of 1,290円 or more per hour after the 3 month training period, which may be shortened depending on ability.
