Job Description:
Kitchen staff work inside the hospital kitchen at Iida Hospital, handling cooking, plating, meal delivery and collection, dishwashing, food preparation and cleaning. Meal times are fixed for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so the daily schedule is regular and predictable rather than rushed and unpredictable. Senior staff provide OJT training (研修 kenshuu) from the start, so applicants with little or no cooking experience can settle in quickly. Shifts are four hours long and are arranged between 06:00 and 18:30, with both early and late shifts available. Weekend work is part of the schedule, and staff work between two and five days a week. This is a large-scale recruitment drive, and applying together with a friend is accepted. Motorbike commuting is permitted and commuting allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid in full for distances of 2km or more. People returning after a career break are actively supported, and qualification allowances are paid where the work calls for them.
Wage:
1,200円～1,300円 (per hour)
Rate depends on experience and skill. Salary increase available. Qualification allowances paid according to duties: registered dietitian 22,500円 to 30,000円, dietitian 3,750円 to 5,000円, cook licence 3,750円 to 5,000円, hygiene manager 3,750円 to 5,000円 when appointed, and leader allowance 3,000円 to 4,000円. Allowance amounts vary with weekly working hours.
