Job Description:
Convenience store staff work at a Lawson branch inside E'site Takasaki, on the first floor at the east exit of Takasaki Station. Duties include register work, customer service, product display, restocking, cleaning and simple food preparation. The registers support English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Nepali, and training manuals are available for foreign staff, so people who find reading and writing Japanese difficult can still work comfortably. Careful training (研修 kenshuu) and support mean first-time workers and those new to convenience stores can start with confidence. The shift is 07:00 to 14:00 and you can work from three days a week. Being inside the station building makes commuting easy in any weather. Staff range from students and international students through to freeters, middle-aged workers and seniors. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid up to 5,000 yen a month, and promotion to full-time employee is available.
