Job Description:
Convenience store staff work at a Seven-Eleven branch right by Nagoya Station in Nakamura-ku. Duties cover register work, customer service, cleaning the store, arranging displays, restocking and placing orders. You will also handle utility bill payments, ticket issuing and handover of items ordered online. Everything is taught carefully, so people with no convenience store experience can apply with confidence. Six time slots run right around the clock, and you can work from one day a week with short daily hours. Early mornings pay 1,220 yen, the 22:00 to 03:00 slot pays 1,425 yen and the full overnight shift pays 1,500 yen per hour. The training period (研修 kenshuu) is six days, during which the rate is 1,140 yen on the daytime slots. A meal subsidy is provided, transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid up to a set amount, and commuting by motorbike or bicycle is permitted.

Rate varies by time slot: 1,220円 for 06:00-09:00, 1,140円 for the 08:00-13:00, 12:00-18:00 and 17:00-22:00 slots, 1,425円 for 22:00-03:00 and 1,500円 for 22:00-06:00, which include the late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate). Training rate of 1,140円 applies for the first 6 days, or 1,425円 on the overnight slots. High school students receive the same rates on the daytime slots. Salary increase available.
