Job Description:
Guest room cleaning and bed making at The Star Hotel in Meieki Minami, ten minutes on foot from Nagoya Station. Duties are making beds, changing linen and setting out amenities, with each room taking under 15 minutes once you have the routine. Every current staff member started with no experience, and senior colleagues teach the work carefully. Three shift patterns are available, 09:00 to 17:00, 13:00 to 21:00 and 17:00 to 01:00, so mornings, evenings and overnight work are all possible. Days of the week are fixed once agreed while times remain negotiable, and you work from one to five days a week. Applicants must be able to work either Saturday or Sunday and public holidays, and students are not accepted for this role. Hours from 22:00 carry a 25 percent late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate), taking the rate up to 1,438 yen. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid at 400 yen a day up to 9,000 yen a month, with pay rises made as earned and a special allowance twice a year.
