Job Description:
Overnight convenience store work at a Seven-Eleven branch on Shiyakusho-dori in Kasukabe, seven minutes from the west exit of Kasukabe Station. Duties are customer service and sales, register operation, arranging displays, restocking, bagging and cleaning. Seven-Eleven also handles utility bill payments and courier services, and once you have settled in you will take on product ordering too. The range of work is broad but you learn it gradually, so no previous experience is needed. The shift is the full overnight run from 22:00 to 06:00, at least seven hours a day and two days a week. The rate of 1,440 yen per hour reflects the late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) for these hours. New products arrive constantly, and during seasonal campaigns part-time staff sometimes take the lead on the display. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid up to a set amount, interview travel costs are covered and bicycle commuting is permitted.
