Job Description:
Clean guest rooms and make beds at a hotel a 5 minute walk from Kashiwa Station. Room cleaning is the main task, and it suits people who like to work steadily and focus on their own work. No experience or qualifications are needed and everything is taught carefully at the start, with most staff having come from completely different jobs. Once you are used to it you can concentrate on your own pace, and many staff stay for a long time. Shifts are 3 to 8 hours a day from 2 days a week, submitted every half month through a dedicated app, with no overtime. Two slots are available, 00:00 to 08:00 and 16:00 to 00:00, and late-night preferences can be discussed. Hours after 22:00 pay 25 percent more, and the 48 hours from Friday 20:00 to Sunday 20:00 pay an extra 100 yen per hour. Hair colour and style, beards, nails and piercings are all free here. Commuting on foot, by bicycle or by train is welcome, but car and motorbike commuting are not permitted.
Wage:
1,140円 (per hour) Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25 percent extra after 22:00, giving 1,425円 per hour. Weekend premium of 100円 extra per hour for the 48 hours from Friday 20:00 to Sunday 20:00.
