Job Description:

Work as hall and kitchen staff at a local yakiniku and horumon restaurant in Honjo, Saitama. Duties are opening preparation and closing work, seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, register work, washing up, plating and cleaning the restaurant. You also introduce seasonal menu items to customers, and there is no touting or leafleting involved. Once you have learned the menu the work runs smoothly, and senior staff teach everything from the start. Customers are mostly families, local companies and regulars, and the team gets on well. Shifts run 17:00 to 24:00 from 2 days a week, submitted every one to two weeks, and working until the last train is fine. Applicants who can work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are given preference, and a special bonus is paid to those who work on busy days. Wages can be paid in cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi), and staff meals (まかない makanai) use rare cuts of meat. Hair colour and style, nails and piercings are all free, and promotion to full-time employee is available with staff reaching that in one to two years.

Wage:

1,200円以上 (per hour) Hourly rate rises with the number of days worked. Special bonus for staff who work on busy days. Pay rise system. Full-time positions available from 250,000 yen a month.
