Job Description:
Work as convenience store staff at a Seven-Eleven in the Nishitetsu Yakuin station building. Duties are the register and customer service, cleaning the store, arranging displays, restocking and ordering products. You also handle utility bill payments, ticket issuing and handing over internet purchases. Everything is taught carefully, so people new to convenience store work can apply with confidence, and part-timers sometimes lead seasonal product campaigns. Three slots cover morning, afternoon and evening, from 5 hours a day and 2 days a week. There is a training period (研修 kenshuu) of 60 days at the same hourly rate. The store is directly connected to the station and a minute's walk away, and there is a bus stop within 5 minutes. Staff of all ages work here, from high school and university students through to middle-aged and older workers.
Wage:
1,060円 (per hour)
Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25 percent extra for hours from 22:00, giving 1,325円 per hour. The same rates apply during the 60 day training period.
