Job Description:

Clean guest rooms and make beds at a business hotel in Nakasu, Hakata. Duties are changing sheets and pillowcases, bed making, vacuuming rooms, wiping down desks and bathrooms, restocking amenities such as towels and toothbrushes, and collecting rubbish. There is no customer service at all, so it suits people who want to focus on the work in front of them. Training starts with you paired up with a senior member of staff, cleaning around 4 or 5 rooms a day together while they teach you the professional techniques, and support continues until you can work alone. The hotel is a smart, calm British-styled building, and the company understands time off for family reasons. The shift is 10:00 to 15:30 with 5 hours of actual work and a 30 minute break, from 4 days a week. A uniform (制服 seifuku) is lent free as a full set, there is a locker, and a convenience store is nearby. An advance payment system (前渡し maewatashi) lets you collect earned wages from a convenience store ATM, in some cases the same day. A referral scheme gives 60,000 yen each to you and your friend, and an outstanding staff award pays 30,000 yen once a year.

Wage:

1,100円 (per hour) Example monthly earnings: 115,500 yen for 5 days a week over 21 days, or 88,000 yen for 4 days a week over 16 days, plus commuting allowance. Advance payment available from earned wages, collectable at a convenience store ATM. Outstanding staff award of 30,000 yen once a year. Referral bonus of 60,000 yen each for you and your friend.
