Job Description:

Work as convenience store staff at a FamilyMart in Kamiyamacho, between Shibuya and Yoyogi-Koen. Duties are general convenience store work: the register, product ordering, arranging the sales floor and cleaning. The operating company runs 39 stores with more than 400 staff, so there are plenty of people to meet. Shifts are entirely request-based and made up weekly, which makes planning easy. What matters most here is a bright greeting; staff who could not manage it at first are now the ones customers ask after by name. Five slots cover early morning through to overnight, from 1 hour a day and 1 day a week, though the overnight slot is 8 hours. There is a training period (研修 kenshuu) of 30 days at the same hourly rate. An advance payment system (前払い maebarai) is available, transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid up to 1,400 yen a day, and a uniform (制服 seifuku) is lent to you. Contract and full-time positions are also open; mention this at the interview if you are interested.

Wage:

1,226円 (per hour) Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) included in the 1,533円 rate for the 22:00-05:00 hours. The same rates apply during the 30 day training period, and high school students receive 1,226円. Pay rise system.
