Job Description:
Hall and kitchen work at Mekiki no Ginji, an izakaya on the fourth floor of MONA Shin-Urayasu, two minutes from the station. Hall duties include showing customers to their seats, serving drinks and food, resetting tables, handling payments and making simple drinks such as beer. Orders are placed by customers on tablets or by QR code, so the role suits people who are not confident about listening comprehension. Kitchen duties begin with the dishwashing station and simple plating, then move on to basic prep and cooking assistance, taught from how to hold a knife. Staff are mainly students and people in their twenties, and it is an easy place to make friends. Wages are calculated in one minute units and advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are 50 percent off the menu, and people who can work the lunch shift from 11:00 are especially welcome. Hair colour and length are free as long as you look clean, with nails and one earring allowed for hall staff under set rules.

1,300円 (per hour)
Training period is paid at 1,150円 per hour. Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) is paid for work from 22:00. Wages are calculated in one minute units. Promotion to full-time employee is available.
