Job Description:

Guest room cleaning at Ailean Donan, a hotel one minute from Machida Station. Duties include cleaning rooms and changing sheets, always working in pairs. Rooms turn over quickly so the pace is brisk, but there is no customer contact at all and the time passes fast. The interiors are redecorated each season, so the hotel changes look through the year. Around 70 staff work here and almost all started with no experience, ranging in age from their twenties to their sixties. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays carry an extra 100円 per hour worked. Shifts are from 2 days a week and 3 hours a day, with a wide choice of bands including early morning, daytime, evening and overnight. The 09:00 to 17:00 band is currently short-staffed and applicants for it are given priority with an immediate start.

Wage:

1,330円～1,763円 (per hour) Weekdays pay 1,330円 to 1,663円 per hour and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays pay 1,430円 to 1,763円, with an extra 100円 for each hour actually worked at weekends. Late-night hours are paid at the higher end of the range. Pay raises available. Monthly earnings of over 190,000円 are possible. Shifts are never cut short, so income stays stable.
