Job Description:
Guest room cleaning at Hotel Osho in Miyakojima-ku, a few minutes from Kyobashi Station. Duties include vacuuming rooms, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, restocking amenities and checking the finished room. The hotel has a high turnover, so the work is physical and needs to be done at pace within a set time. It is honest work rather than easy work, and staff are on their feet moving for most of the shift. There is almost no customer contact, so it suits people who prefer to work quietly and focus on the task. Staff are currently mainly women in their forties and fifties, and senior staff teach you step by step. The shift is 18:00 to 00:00, from 3 days a week and 3 to 4 hours a day, and people who can work Monday, Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday are welcome. Clothing, hair colour, nails, piercings and beards are all free.
Wage:
1,200円 (per hour)
Training period of around 1 month is paid at 1,177円 per hour, varying with ability. Additional allowances are paid on top of the hourly rate. Pay raises available. Regular shift workers are given preference in hiring.
