Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Mekinoki no Ginji, a lively izakaya chain restaurant on the 5th floor of OX Gifu Building, a 3-minute walk from Meitetsu Gifu Station. Hall staff guide guests to their seats, deliver food and drinks, handle payments, and prepare simple drinks such as draft beer. Ordering is handled by customers themselves via tablet or QR code self-order, so there is no pressure to take verbal orders accurately. Kitchen staff start with dishwashing and simple plating, then progress to basic prep and cooking assistance — knife skills are taught from scratch, so no cooking experience is needed. The main shift runs from 12:00 to 03:00 (overnight), meaning late-night hours are a regular part of the role. A late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00 onward. Advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available, and wages are calculated to the minute. Staff meals are available at 50% off the menu price (まかない makanai). A training period (研修 kenshuu) applies at the start with a lower hourly rate of 1,065 yen. Hair colour, length, and style are free — bold colours including blonde and pink are welcome. Nail polish and one small earring per ear are permitted for hall staff only.
