Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Gyoza no Kibouri, a beloved long-established gyoza restaurant in Hamamatsu City selected as a Tabelog Top 100 restaurant. Hall duties include guiding guests, taking orders, and serving food. The menu covers only gyoza and ramen, so there is very little to memorise. Kitchen duties involve plating rice and miso soup, washing dishes, and occasional simple cooking assistance such as preparing ramen — the owner handles all main cooking. Lunch runs 11:00-14:30 and dinner 16:30-21:00. Staff who work a full lunch-to-dinner shift receive a free staff meal (まかない makanai) including the restaurant's signature Hamamatsu gyoza. Cash-in-hand payment (手渡し tewatashi) is available and wages are calculated to the minute. A start bonus (Happy Bonus) of 10,000 yen is paid after completing 100 hours of work. Shifts are highly flexible — minimum 1 day per week and 2 hours per day, with zero-shift weeks for exams or club activities accepted. High school students are welcome at the same hourly rate as other staff. Hair colour, nail polish, and piercings are permitted. Free parking is available a 1-minute walk from the restaurant.
