Job Description:
This is an evening hall and kitchen staff role at Akakara Hiroshima Ebisu, a popular nabe and yakitori izakaya on the 2nd floor of Maaya-kan in Naka-ku, Hiroshima, a 3-minute walk from Ebisu-cho Station. Hall duties include guiding guests, taking orders via mobile order system, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables. Kitchen duties include preparing nabe hotpot, simple cooking, cutting vegetables and meat, frying, and dishwashing — staff start with their preferred section and are trained in both over time. The evening shift runs 16:00 to 22:00. A late-night premium applies from 22:00, bringing the rate to 1,500 yen per hour (post-training). A one-month training period (研修 kenshuu) applies at 1,100 yen, rising to 1,200 yen upon completion. Salary reviews are held quarterly with increases of 10-50 yen per round. Staff meals are available at 350 yen per day — menu includes Akakara nabe, seseri-don, karaage-don, and ramen. Hair colour, nail polish, and piercings (ears only) are permitted. No resume is required for the interview. Short-term contracts through winter or until graduation are welcome, as well as long-term arrangements.
