Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Murasaki Kudamatsu, a long-running izakaya restaurant in Kudamatsu City, Yamaguchi, a 10-minute walk from Kudamatsu Station. Hall staff welcome and seat guests, take orders, prepare drinks, and serve food. Kitchen staff handle simple cooking, plating, and dishwashing. Both roles are covered by the same shift and can be chosen based on preference — training manuals are provided for both. The evening shift runs 18:00 to 00:00 (ending at midnight), with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and 2 days per week. Shifts of just 3 hours starting from 18:00 are accepted, making it easy to combine with school or another job. A late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 1,312 yen applies from 22:00 to 05:00 — note that staff under 18 may not work after 22:00 (Japanese labour law). A one-month trial period applies at 1,043 yen, rising to 1,050 yen on completion. Cash-in-hand payment (手渡し tewatashi) is available on request. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided. Hair colour, nail polish, and piercings are freely permitted.
