Job Description:

This is a daytime room service role at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo (帝国ホテル東京), one of Japan's most prestigious hotels, located in Chiyoda-ku, a 3-minute walk from Hibiya Station. Tasks include delivering food, drinks, anniversary bouquets, and fruit arrangements to guest rooms and setting them up elegantly; collecting used trolleys after service; and back-of-house preparation such as polishing glassware, folding napkins, arranging fresh flowers, and setting up trolleys. Much of the work is back-of-house preparation and waiting time rather than direct guest interaction, allowing a calm and focused working pace. Shifts are on a fixed rotation centred on 07:00-15:30, 12:00-20:30, and 13:30-22:00, each 7.5 hours of actual work. A late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 50% applies from 22:00, bringing the post-training rate to 2,340 yen or above. A 2-month training period (研修 kenshuu) applies at 1,430 yen, rising to 1,560 yen on completion. Salary reviews and a twice-yearly bonus are provided. Due to the long-term employment structure, applicants must hold permanent residency, settled status, or Japanese spouse/child visa — visa renewal should not be required.
