Job Description:

This is a hall staff role at 鰻割烹まるぜん (Unagi Kappo Maruzen), a family-run eel cuisine restaurant (鰻割烹 unagi kappo) located in the basement of Miyamoto Building in Nishiki, Nagoya's Naka-ku, just 5 minutes walk from both Fushimi and Maruno-uchi stations. The restaurant is a small, calm dining space operated by a family team with only one to two floor staff per session, giving a relaxed and supportive working environment well suited to those new to restaurant work. Hall duties involve welcoming and seating guests and serving dishes — no payment handling is required on the floor as the owner manages billing. As experience grows, simple kitchen work such as plating and dishwashing can be added to your role. A 100-hour training period (研修 kenshuu) applies at 1,150円 per hour, after which the standard rate of 1,300円 or above applies based on performance. Shifts run from 17:30 to 22:00; a minimum of 3 hours per shift is accepted from 1 day per week, and the restaurant closes on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Pay can be received by cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi); salary increases are available and an employee discount on food is provided. Wage:
