Job Description:

This is a daytime hall and kitchen staff role at 南京亭 (Nankyotei) Kawagoe, a large Chinese family restaurant in Kashino-dai, operating 24 hours a day and offering over 100 menu items including the famous gyoza. The daytime slot covers 05:00 to 22:00; a minimum of 3 hours per shift is accepted from 1 day per week, making it easy to fit around school, childcare, or other jobs. Hall duties include taking orders via handheld device (no need to memorise the full menu), serving food and drinks, table setting, register operation, and store cleaning; kitchen duties cover simple cooking assistance and dishwashing. A training period of approximately 3 months applies at 1,230円 per hour (weekday daytime); after training the standard weekday rate is 1,280円 and the weekend and public holiday rate rises to 1,330円. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at a heavily discounted price; pay can be received by cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi). Hair colour, beard, and piercings are all freely allowed; social insurance is fully covered for qualifying hours.
