Job Description:

This is a fruit juice shop staff role at 果汁工房果琳 (Kajukoubo Karin) Sunshine City Alpa, a made-to-order fresh fruit juice counter on the first floor of Sunshine City Alpa shopping centre in Higashi-Ikebukuro, 9 minutes walk from Ikebukuro Station and 3 minutes from Higashi-Ikebukuro Station. Duties include taking orders and serving customers at the register, preparing fresh fruit juices to order, handling fruit prep and mise en place in the shop, and keeping the counter clean. The shop specialises in a buy-to-order system where fruit is cut and blended after each order using carefully selected produce at optimal ripeness — no prior barista or juice experience is required. Weekday shifts run in the evening 18:00-21:30 (minimum 3.5 hours); weekend and public holiday shifts cover 09:00-20:00 with various slot lengths from 4 hours; Sunday shifts are also open to discussion. A 200-hour training (研修 kenshuu) period applies at 1,230円 per hour, rising to 1,240円 or above thereafter; a formal grading system means salary increases are tied to assessed skill level reviewed annually.
