Job Description:

This is a hall staff role at 魚民 (Uotami) Tsuruhashi Chuo-guchi Ekimae, a popular izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) in the Monteroza chain, located just 1 minute walk from Tsuruhashi Station in Osaka's Tennoji Ward. Hall duties include welcoming and seating guests, serving food and drinks, preparing simple drinks such as beer, resetting tables, and handling payment — orders are placed by customers via tablet and QR code, so there is no need for verbal order-taking, reducing pressure on those new to dining service. Kitchen staff start with dishwashing and simple plating, then progress to light prep and cooking assistance; knife skills are taught from scratch. The shift window is 16:00 to 03:00 (overnight); a minimum of 3 hours per shift is accepted from 1 day per week, with weekday-only and weekend-only schedules both available. A late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00, raising the effective rate to 1,475円 per hour for overnight hours. An advance payment system (前払い maebarai) is in place and wages are calculated to the minute; staff meals are available at 50% off the menu price.
