Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Marugame Seimen Izunokuni, a popular udon chain (うどん屋 udon-ya) located along Route 136 in front of McDonald's in Izunokuni, Shizuoka. The store operates an evening-only shift from 18:00 to 23:00, making it well suited to students, those with daytime commitments, or anyone wanting to work after handling family duties during the day. Hall duties include tray and dish collection, register operation, and keeping the dining area clean; kitchen duties cover udon cooking assistance, tempura and rice dish preparation, and dishwashing. Tasks are divided into focused roles so each position is straightforward to learn -- no experience is required, and step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and a full task manual are provided. International students (留学生 ryuugakusei) are explicitly welcomed; note that this role involves Japanese-language customer service, so working here also builds everyday Japanese communication skills naturally. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 120 yen per meal up to 800 yen worth of food, and a family canteen card provides up to 10,000 yen per month for employees with children aged 15 and under. Transport allowance is paid up to 50,000 yen per month; car and motorbike commuting are permitted with fuel costs reimbursed within company guidelines. A minimum contract of 3 months is expected, with shift days and hours negotiable on a weekly basis.
