Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Yoshinoya Kumamoto Shimotori, a cafe-style Yoshinoya gyudon restaurant on the ground floor of the NADEL building in the Shimotori shopping district of central Kumamoto, a 2-minute walk from Torichosuji Station. Hall duties include guiding guests to seats, serving food and drinks, and register operation; kitchen duties cover cooking and plating gyudon and other menu items, with video manuals and step-by-step guidance provided for all new starters. A 2-month training (研修 kenshuu) period applies at the same wage rate as the standard pay; the period may be shortened based on skill acquisition. Hours from 22:00 onwards attract a statutory deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25%, bringing the rate to 1,375 yen per hour for those hours. An advance payment (速払い hayabarai) system is available, allowing a portion of accrued wages to be received before the regular payday under company rules. Staff receive a 70% discount on meals during shifts and a 30% discount on takeout and dine-in purchases at any time, with family members also eligible for the discount under conditions. Transportation expenses are fully reimbursed; hair colour and style are largely free-form, and no resume is required to apply. Foreign nationals are actively welcomed provided basic Japanese daily conversation ability is maintained.
