Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Tonkatsu Ton-ichi Matsudo Ekimae, a tonkatsu (とんかつ tonkatsu) restaurant from the Toridoll group, a 2-minute walk from Matsudo Station in Chiba, with an open kitchen that lets customers watch the cooking process live. Kitchen duties include breading and deep-frying tonkatsu, preparing katsudon, cooking rice and miso soup for set meals, meat and vegetable prep, and dishwashing using an industrial machine; the menu is relatively compact and recipes are clearly documented, making it accessible for beginners. Hall duties include welcoming guests, register operation on a touchscreen system, and keeping the dining area clean. No experience is required -- step-by-step training (研修 kenshuu) and recipe manuals are provided, and staff new to the service industry can start from simpler tasks such as dishwashing and rice preparation before progressing to cooking. From 22:00 onwards a statutory deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies, bringing the rate to approximately 1,563 yen per hour for the final hour of the shift window. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 120 yen per meal, and a family canteen card provides up to 5,000 yen per month for employees with children aged 15 and under. Transport allowance is paid up to 50,000 yen per month within company guidelines. This role requires Japanese language ability at JLPT N2 level or above, or equivalent conversational fluency, for customer service.

Wage:

1,250円 (per hour) Deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25% increase for hours worked from 22:00 onwards (approx. 1,563 yen/hour). Salary increase system in place.
