Job Description:
This is a hall and dishwashing staff role at Kogame, a well-known handmade udon restaurant (手打ちうどん teutchi udon) in Kazo, Saitama, with a strong local following and regular media coverage including TV and online video features. Hall duties include taking orders, serving food, and clearing tables; the dishwashing role involves loading dishes into an industrial machine -- mostly automated and described as very easy. Assistance with simple hall tasks is also occasionally needed, and the overall work is straightforward with no complex skills required. The shift runs from 09:30 to 15:00 (morning to early afternoon); the store is closed on Thursdays and the third Wednesday of each month. Weekend and holiday premiums apply: Saturday shifts pay 1,300 yen per hour and Sunday and public holiday shifts pay 1,400 yen per hour, both above the weekday base of 1,200 yen. Wages are paid cash in hand (給与手渡し kyuuryo tewatashi), and free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided daily. Hair colour and style are largely free-form (long hair must be tied back during work); nail art is permitted in non-extreme styles; no resume is required to apply. A minimum of 2 days per week and 3 hours per shift is accepted, making this well suited to parents, students, and those fitting work around other commitments.
