Job Description:

This is an opening-staff recruitment for Marugame Seimen Kita-Shinsaibashi, a new udon chain (うどん屋 udon-ya) location opening in early September 2026 inside the Shinsaibashi-suji Kita shopping arcade in Osaka's Chuo ward, 6 minutes from Hommachi Station and 7 minutes from Shinsaibashi Station. Joining now means starting alongside all other new team members, with pre-opening training conducted in the store before guests arrive -- a comfortable way to learn without the pressure of a live service environment. Kitchen duties include boiling and plating udon, frying tempura, preparing onigiri and inari to recipe, and dishwashing; hall duties include welcoming guests, register operation, and keeping the dining area and counters clean. A special opening wage of 1,500 yen per hour applies through to 31 October 2026; the standard rate of 1,300 yen per hour applies thereafter. From 22:00 onwards the statutory deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) of 25% applies, bringing the rate to approximately 1,625 yen per hour at the standard rate. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 120 yen per meal up to 800 yen worth of food, and a family canteen card provides up to 10,000 yen per month for employees with children aged 15 and under. Transport allowance is paid up to 50,000 yen per month within company guidelines. This role requires JLPT N2 level or equivalent Japanese for customer service; a minimum contract of 3 months applies.

Wage:

1,300円 (per hour) Opening period special rate: 1,500 yen/hour through 31 October 2026. Deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25% increase for hours worked from 22:00 onwards (approx. 1,625 yen/hour at standard rate). Salary increase system in place. Bonus system available.
